Can you tattoo leather?
Yes. With a real tattoo machine, on stretched, finished leather.

How does it work?
The same machine, the same needles and the same patience as on skin. Every motif is drawn by hand and tattooed freehand. No prints, no lasers, no mass production.

Why doesn't it peel like paint?
Paint sits on top of the leather, so it cracks, peels and fades with wear. Tattoo ink is worked into the top layers of the leather and sealed. It stays flexible with the material.

Which leather works?
Leather has to be stretched and tensioned, so I tattoo finished pieces: shoes, car seats and bags, never loose hides. I supply the shoes brand new; car seats can be your own or one I source.

How do I care for it?
Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Use a neutral leather balm every few months. Avoid solvents and long exposure to direct sun.
